CORK DORK WINE NOTES

For our club members, this is one of the most anticipated moments of the year—the annual release of our Cabernet Sauvignon! And this year we selected Columbia Valley, WA as our home… once again.

This is a wine that truly lives up to its name—Vive Le Rock. It’s a bold, uncompromising Cabernet Sauvignon-Malbec blend sourced from the aptly named Soaring Eagle Vineyard in Columbia Valley—a place that seems to float above the landscape, wind-whipped and wild.

From the first pour, you know this one’s going to fly. It’s deep, dark, and electric—like a power chord struck through a Marshall amp. Blackcurrant, wild berries, and crushed volcanic rock come roaring in, grounded by hints of cocoa, tobacco leaf, and a whisper of smoked leather. There’s a rawness here, but also polish—big and muscular, yet smooth and composed, like a great band just hitting their groove. The Malbec adds an unexpected backbeat—lively, juicy, and just a little dangerous.
