Our home is the five-star Hotel Californian, steps from the Pacific in the heart of the city. From there, we will explore the vineyards, private estates, and distinctive wines of the Santa Ynez Valley—an extraordinary region shaped by cool Pacific air and known for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay of remarkable elegance.
Santa Barbara has long been personal to us. Eric once managed wineries here, and that connection has helped shape an experience that goes well beyond the expected: exceptional wines, inspired Southern California cuisine, and intimate performances with Mindi, saxophone icon Richard Elliot, and more.
If you join us on week one, we’ll kick off the week with an intimate Easter dinner together, raising a glass, sharing an incredible meal, and celebrating the start of something unforgettable.
For guests who choose the optional Beverly Hills Luxury Extension, the Adventure takes on a different kind of glamour. Stay at the five-star Maybourne steps from Rodeo Drive, record with Mindi at the legendary Village Studios, spend an evening at the members-only Magic Castle, and experience the wine, music, and celebrated dining that have made Beverly Hills iconic.

Two nights at the five-star Maybourne place you in the center of Beverly Hills. We’ll enter The Village—a legendary recording studio—to join Mindi and become part of her newest recording, and watch your wine disappear at the members-only Magic Castle.
PRICING, TERMS & RESERVATIONS
$6,500–$15,000 per person | Optional Beverly Hills Luxury Extension: $4,300 per person
Adventure packages begin at $6,500 per person, with upgraded room and suite categories available.
Single supplement: $1,500 per person.
Deposit: A non-refundable $2,000 per-person deposit secures your reservation. It may be transferred once to another future Adventure, subject to availability and approval.
Beverly Hills Luxury Extension - 22 guest limit: Add two nights at the five-star Maybourne for $4,300 per person. An additional non-refundable $1,000 per-person deposit is required and may be transferred once under the same terms.
Add the extension during checkout: The option will appear before payment is submitted.
Your Adventure includes: Five days and four nights at Hotel Californian, daily curated experiences with Eric and Mindi, three live music performances, exclusive wine tastings and winery access, two lunches and four dinners.
Your Luxury Extension includes: Two nights at the Maybourne Beverly Hills, one lunch, two dinners, a recording session at the Village Recording Studio and an evening at the members-only Magic Castle.
Not included: Airfare and airport transfers to and from Hotel Californian and The Maybourne Bevelry Hills.

From Sta. Rita Hills to Santa Ynez: World-Class Wines To Richard Elliot In The Vines
Begin in the cool, windswept Sta. Rita Hills with a private visit to The Hilt Estate, part of the portfolio behind the legendary cult winery Screaming Eagle and renowned for exceptional Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Then continue into the Santa Ynez Valley for relaxed wine-country hospitality and lunch at Roblar Winery, and an intimate performance by Richard Elliot.

Prestige Wines, Los Olivos & the Sport of Kings
Begin with a private visit to one of Santa Barbara County’s most prestigious wine estates, where exceptional wines set the tone. Lunch at Nella Kitchen, one of Los Olivos’ finest tables, is followed by time to explore before the Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club is reserved exclusively for our group—for a private polo match and a live terrace performance.

Private Estate, Sunset Grand Finale & Dinner in the Castle
Enjoy a leisurely morning and lunch in The Funk Zone of Santa Barbara before returning to wine country for a private estate visit and tasting at the refined Brave & Maiden Estate. Then as the sun sets at Star Lane Winery, a private wine reception leads into Mindi’s grand-finale performance and a wine-paired dinner in the Grand Rotunda.

A Sparkling Farewell
We’ll gather one last time over mimosas for a heartfelt farewell—sharing a few closing thoughts, favorite moments, and memories from an extraordinary week together. It’s always bittersweet to say goodbye, but the friendships, laughter, and experiences we’ve shared are what make these Adventures so special.

Depart Santa Barbara and arrive at The Maybourne Beverly Hills, your elegant home for the next two nights. Lunch awaits at Wally’s Wine & Spirits, one of Eric’s favorite haunts, where he’ll guide you through an exceptional tasting of some of the finest wines in the world. After lunch, check in and enjoy time to explore Beverly Hills before an evening at The Magic Castle in Hollywood. A special invitation opens the doors of this famously private, members-only club for dinner, close-up magic, and a little old Hollywood intrigue.

A Song with Mindi & an Evening at Spago
Enjoy breakfast on your own and a leisurely morning in Beverly Hills before stepping inside the legendary Village Studios for a studio tour and recording session with Mindi. As she records her newest song, you’ll participate in the session and receive song-credit recognition—a rare, personal connection to the music that will stay with you long after the Adventure ends. Return to The Maybourne Beverly Hills to relax and refresh before walking to Spago, Wolfgang Puck’s iconic flagship, for a final evening at the legendary celebrity dining institution that helped define California cuisine.

During her remarkable 26-year recording career, saxophonist/vocalist Mindi Abair has garnered 2 GRAMMY nominations, recorded with some of the biggest names in music, and built a substantial following among jazz and blues audiences with her soaring melodies and powerhouse style. In 2014, Mindi received her first GRAMMY nomination in the Best Pop Instrumental Album category for Summer Horns with Dave Koz, Richard Elliot and Gerald Albright, followed by a 2015 GRAMMY nomination for Best Contemporary Instrumental Album for her solo LP Wild Heart featuring the late Gregg Allman, Joe Perry, Trombone Shorty, Booker T. Jones, Keb’ Mo’, and Max Weinberg.
You might know her as the featured saxophonist on American Idol, sitting in with Paul Shaffer on The Late Show with David Letterman and The Roots on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, or from moonlighting on tour with Duran Duran or Aerosmith. As a solo artist, she has consistently topped the Billboard Contemporary Jazz and Blues charts.
Mindi wrote the book “How To Play Madison Square Garden – A Guide To Stage Performance” and served 10 years as an LA Chapter Governor, President and National Trustee for The Recording Academy.
