Our home is the five-star Hotel Californian, steps from the Pacific in the heart of the city. From there, we will explore the vineyards, private estates, and distinctive wines of the Santa Ynez Valley—an extraordinary region shaped by cool Pacific air and known for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay of remarkable elegance.
Santa Barbara has long been personal to us. Eric once managed wineries here, and that connection has helped shape an experience that goes well beyond the expected: exceptional wines, inspired Southern California cuisine, and intimate performances led by Mindi and special guest musicians.
For guests who choose the optional Beverly Hills Luxury Extension, the Adventure takes on a different kind of glamour. Stay at the five-star Maybourne, record with Mindi at the legendary Village Studios, and experience the wine, music, and celebrated dining that have made Beverly Hills iconic.

Two nights at the five-star Maybourne place you in the center of Beverly Hills, with its finest restaurants, boutiques and lifestyle at your door. Then we’ll enter The Village—a legendary studio and living archive of music history—where you’ll join Mindi and become part of her newest recording.
PRICING, TERMS & RESERVATIONS
$6,500–$15,000 per person | Optional Beverly Hills Luxury Extension: $4,300 per person
Adventure packages begin at $6,500 per person, with upgraded room and suite categories available.
Single supplement: $1,500 per person.
Deposit: A non-refundable $2,000 per-person deposit secures your reservation. It may be transferred once to another future Adventure, subject to availability and approval.
Beverly Hills Luxury Extension - 20 guest limit: Add two nights at the five-star Maybourne for $4,300 per person. An additional non-refundable $1,000 per-person deposit is required and may be transferred once under the same terms.
Add the extension during checkout: The option will appear before payment is submitted.
Your Adventure includes: Five days and four nights at Hotel Californian, daily curated experiences with Eric and Mindi, three live music performances, exclusive wine tastings and winery access, four breakfasts, two lunches and four dinners.
Not included: Airfare and airport transfers to Hotel Californian.

Arrive at the five-star Hotel Californian, your elegant home just steps from the Pacific. As the afternoon light settles over Santa Barbara, join Mindi and Eric for a sparkling welcome that sets the tone for the days ahead. The evening begins above the city at Mirador Rooftop, where a private dinner brings together exceptional wine, warm conversation, and the unmistakable beauty of the California coast.

From Sta. Rita Hills to Santa Ynez: World-Class Wines To Live Music In The Vines
Begin in the cool, windswept Sta. Rita Hills with a private visit to The Hilt Estate, part of the portfolio behind the legendary cult winery Screaming Eagle and renowned for exceptional Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Then continue into the Santa Ynez Valley for relaxed wine-country hospitality, and an intimate performance by a special guest musician, before returning to Santa Barbara to unwind and enjoy an exceptional evening of Spanish coastal dining.

Prestige Wines, Los Olivos & the Sport of Kings
Begin with a private visit to one of Santa Barbara County’s most prestigious wine estates, where exceptional wines set the tone. Lunch at Nella Kitchen, one of Los Olivos’ finest tables, is followed by time to explore before the Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club is reserved exclusively for our group—for a private polo match, a chance to meet the players, and a live terrace performance.

Private Estate, Sunset Grand Finale & Dinner in the Castle
Enjoy a leisurely morning and lunch in The Funk Zone of Santa Barbara before returning to wine country for a private estate visit and tasting at the refined Brave & Maiden Estate. Then as the sun sets at Star Lane Winery, a private wine reception leads into Mindi’s grand-finale performance and a wine-paired dinner in the Grand Rotunda.

A Sparkling Farewell
We’ll gather one last time over mimosas for a heartfelt farewell—sharing a few closing thoughts, favorite moments, and memories from an extraordinary week together. It’s always bittersweet to say goodbye, but the friendships, laughter, and experiences we’ve shared are what make these Adventures so special.

For just 20 guests, this extension offers an exceptional way to experience Beverly Hills through two places at the heart of Mindi and Eric’s worlds: the legendary Village Studios, where Mindi will record a new song, and Wally’s Wine & Spirits, one of Eric’s favorite wine destinations anywhere.
At the legendary Village Studios, Mindi will record her newest song and guests will participate in the session, receiving song-credit recognition. It is a rare, personal connection to the creative process—and the defining experience of this extension.
Your home for two extraordinary nights is The Maybourne Beverly Hills, the five-star landmark at the center of iconic Beverly Hills, where European refinement meets California ease. At Wally’s Wine & Spirits, one of Eric’s favorite wine destinations in the world, Eric will host lunch and guide the group through an exceptional tasting. The celebrated Beverly Hills institution is co-owned by Christian Navarro and Guess founders Paul and Maurice Marciano.
A special invitation grants entry to The Magic Castle, Hollywood’s famously private members-only club. Behind its doors, dinner, close-up magic, and old Hollywood intrigue unfold through an evening reserved for members and their guests.
The extension culminates at Spago, Wolfgang Puck’s iconic Beverly Hills flagship. A legendary celebrity dining institution, Spago helped define California cuisine and established Los Angeles as a global dining capital.

Galactic Princess Of Music
During her remarkable 25-year recording career, saxophonist/vocalist Mindi Abair has garnered 2 GRAMMY nominations, recorded with some of the biggest names in music, and built a substantial following among jazz and blues audiences with her soaring melodies and powerhouse style. In 2014, Mindi received her first GRAMMY nomination in the Best Pop Instrumental Album category for Summer Horns with Dave Koz, Richard Elliot and Gerald Albright, followed by a 2015 GRAMMY nomination for Best Contemporary Instrumental Album for her solo LP Wild Heart featuring the late Gregg Allman, Joe Perry, Trombone Shorty, Booker T. Jones, Keb’ Mo’, and Max Weinberg.
You might know her as the featured saxophonist on American Idol, sitting in with Paul Shaffer on The Late Show with David Letterman and The Roots on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, or from moonlighting on tour with Duran Duran or Aerosmith. As a solo artist, she has consistently topped the Billboard Contemporary Jazz and Blues charts.
Mindi wrote the book “How To Play Madison Square Garden – A Guide To Stage Performance” and served 10 years as an LA Chapter Governor, President and National Trustee for The Recording Academy.
