This wine comes from the very prestigious, and quit cool Sonoma Coast where only a handful of bottles were crafted for our members. Given its refreshing nature and food pairing versatility, we drink a lot of Rosé at home. We think you will too, once you taste and fall in love with this wine. We look for very specific stylistic characteristics, those similar to what are found in Provence, France, which produces some of the highest quality Rosé in the world. And, this wine being born in the Sonoma Coast region, given its closeness to the very cool Pacific Ocean, is a perfect sister region to Provence. Factor in that this wine is 100% Pinot Noir, and you have the emergence for a rock star in the making.
The winemaker selected a clear bottle so you can gaze at the beautiful light salmon color, which is incredibly inviting. I can still recall the first time we poured it into a glass and took in the bouquet. The wine jumps from the glass and is immediately engaging with bright fruits like zesty raspberry, newly-picked strawberry, stone fruit and a bit of tropical fruit, like papaya.
We fell in love upon our first sip… with flavors like lively ripe raspberry and strawberry, juicy apricot and a touch of papaya all playing together so nicely. The acidity is bright, and you just want to drink this wine cold to really make it a refreshing experience. It is truly impressive in color, aroma and flavor.
It is a luxury superior quality Rosé in every way, and it was worth the 15 month wait!

As Eric mentioned previously, we had to taste through what felt like countless Rosés to find this very special wine. So, when we found this spectacular Rosé, it was so important to me to curate the perfect musical pairing.
With such a bright, beautiful and uplifting style, this wine immediately reminded me of a field of wild flowers. You’ve seen them … you gaze out and all you see are bright colors coming together into a spectacular vibrant prism of happiness. And nothing is more perfect to reflect this feeling than that incredible period of time when the Summer Of Love and Woodstock came into our collective lives. It was a moment where a colorful explosion of empowering music and bright, floral fashion expressed the ideals of peace and love in the world… with countless images of a Flower Child at the center of most movements and festivals. I am myself a child of the Summer of Love, and the music speaks to me and gives me this incredibly bright peaceful feeling.
For this label, we created a watercolor painting of those beautiful wild flowers fanned out. A high quality textured paper stock represents the earthiness of the moment, and the gloss coating over vibrant watercolors expresses the true shine of the love, peace and happiness of the music at that time.

I feel as if I write this often, however THIS was truly a super fun playlist to create. The music that emerged from the 60’s and 70’s and the Flower Child era was so important that it continues to speak to us today and remind us that peace and love create a better world. You will find some of the songs are joyful, and others have a strong message these young artists where trying to communicate to the world. As you listen, I think you will know them all, with some taking you back to defining moments in your own lives. Feel the good vibrations, dream on, and drink up in the sunshine of your love. Eric and I loved every second of creating this playlist! I hope you love it as much as we do!
